Cirque d'Hiver

This evening we had tickets to see the Cirque d’Hiver, the Paris winter circus that has taken place since the mid-19th century. The circus featured a clown, several acrobatic acts, and several animal acts. For the most part, it seemed that the group preferred the acrobatic performances as many of us were bothered by the way the circus animals were being treated. However, the venue of the circus was amazing – it was held in a small, circular auditorium with seats almost all the way around. The seats were all covered in red plush, exactly what every young child imagines a circus looking like. (-Alona)
