La Mouzaïa
Sophie gave us a tour of the Mouzaïa, which is a quartier in the 19th arrondissement, and is one of the few non-touristy areas in Paris. The neighborhood consists of expensive and beautiful houses painted many different colors. We walked through many small streets/passages, called “villas.” We especially liked the little gardens outside some of the houses and the cats that roamed the streets. The neighborhood still has a residential and peaceful charm that most of Paris has lost. We are very thankful to Sophie for introducing us to this little-known area.
