Le Malade Imaginaire

Le Malade Imaginaire
The Imaginary Invalid

(Molière)

We saw Le Malade Imaginaire at the Comédie Française. I had learned about the Comédie Française in my French Theater course and had high expectations going into the show, and I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. We had wonderful seats close to the front. The actors were amazing and the chemistry between them and the comic gests contributed to the atmosphere. The audience consisted of individuals of all ages (from school groups to old couples) and everyone seemed to enjoy the show. Molière is truly a timeless playwright whose works will always be entertaining. This was probably my favorite of all of the shows we saw in Paris.
